Hello!
As many of you know, I had surgery on a broken foot two weeks ago. Due to my many health issues, recovery isn’t going quite as smoothly as I thought it would. Going non-weight baring is much more difficult than I was prepared to admit. You see, many of you are new to me. You don’t know my very intense and complicated health history. I have around 12 (losing count these days) autoimmune diseases that cause me considerable grief.
Why is this important?
Any stress, like surgery, on my body flares all of them. I’ve decided to
Take the rest of the month off from new story posts. I’ll resume with my first Carrie post on June 7th and my first Diary of a Hit Woman on June 9th.
What will I use this time for?
Writing more content. Resting. Going to a bunch of appointments. Figuring out my publishing schedule for the rest of the year. Hopefully, chatting with you all via Notes.
What can you do for me in this time?
If you would, try and catch up on what I’ve already written. Help me continue to spread the word about my work by liking or sharing pieces you enjoy. And just don’t get mad at me for needing some recovery time.
See you all soon,
Jenna B. Neece
Gotta rest up. What do you tell others? Can’t pour from an empty cup!
Don't forget to add "have fun" into your recovery schedule. We writers don't do enough of that.
